How Do I Start?

For many of you guys out there, you may not have a website or a blog yet. Obviously, this is the first step prior to using Adsense, so that's the subject for now.

If you're a newcomer to the internet, I recommend writing a blog. There are many blog sites out there that allow you to get started quickly and easily, you just have to know where they are.

Now that you have a place to start, you now need to find some inspiration. You will NEVER get visitors to come across your blog or site unless it's about something that inspires you. How else will you be able to add more content if you don't enjoy writing about it? If you can find your one niche, your one area of expertise, start writing about it and pour everything you know out. I mean EVERYTHING. The more topics and information you have, the more search engine crawlers have to work with and therefore you will have a higher ranking in search engines when people type in your keywords. A higher ranking = higher traffic into your site. It's pretty simple.

Speaking of keywords, it is also wise to choose a subject that maybe not a lot of people talk about. That way you will have a lot less competition when fighting for better rankings when people search your keywords. Write about flying pigs with love affairs, or inflatable furniture filled with helium, or exponential decay of uranium in different environments. Okay...you dot have to go way out there, but you get the picture.

The key to achieving successful traffic into your blog or site is constantly adding more and more content and making sure that your content is unique from other people's. Get this right, and you'll be on your way to owning a highly successful internet URL.
