Now comes the fun stuff. Setup up your Google Adsense account by going to their official site here. Just press the Sign Up button and give them some general information such as your street address, name, phone number, URL of your site, etc. Once you're finished with that nonsense, you're not quite ready to use Adsense just yet.
Sorry, but you actually have to wait a bit more after signing up for your account to use Adsense. That is why you submitted your URL to your site. Adsense actually has to review your site and make sure it's suitable before giving you the ability to market ads. Don't worry, your site probably will be accepted as long as it's not directed into forcing people into clicking your ads and is "clean." Sorry, no porn, drugs, or other content like that. Google says it will take about 2 to 3 day for them to confirm your site, but for me it only took about 12 hours, maybe even less.
Once you're signed up and they confirm your account, THEN you can get started with the Adsense program. Finally. Hopefully you have found a good sitebuilding program that will help you get started with Adsense, but for now, I'm not going to go that deep. I would recommend the site I'm using right now, Blogger. It's incredibly easy to get started with if you already have a Google account.
